We are living in 2019 where kids love hippi music and late night parties. equally parents are worried about the Indian culture that is loosing its grip with time and more of turning into western culture. Teen is a age where kids are more rebellious and more into questioning facts. With this attitude and inclination toward to the western culture, there is a serious need of introduction of Indian Vocal music to them. Hindustani classical music is an Indian classical music tradition. It includes khayal, Ghazal, dhrupad, dhammar, tarana and thumri. In this blog, we are not forcing your to force your kids to learn hindustani vocal but to introduce them with various hindustani vocal magic.
Recently, Gateway Education and Indic Festivals curated the first edition of Indic Teen Fest at Gateway Campus, Sonipat from 8th June to 10th June, 2018.
The Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology has been established by the Gateway Education & Charitable Society.
Indic Teen Fest 2018 invited 350 teens around the country to offer them learning beyond classrooms. It includes 50 plus workshop sessions and 30 speakers to talk with. It was an amazing Fest focussing on TEENS around the country
One such b workshop was- Hindustani Vocal Workshop. Ashwani Shankar and Sanjeev Shankar from Spic Macay conducted a three day flute playing workshop, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
This session was a HIT as . kids get a chance to know about this hidden music form in very fun interactive session ofAshwani Shankar and Sanjeev Shankar.
Many teens understand the different career options available at India as well as outside India when they opt for Hindustani Vocal Workshop . Indic Teen Fest gives a change for culture transformation for a teen and grow as an individual.
